Why we built it
We lost three races to navigation. Then we built Fetch.
We race club events on Port Phillip Bay out of Williamstown. We're quick on the hoists and good on the angles, but we still lost races to navigation.
From heading for the wrong mark to second-guessing a rounding that was right, small navigation mistakes cost us places.
Between the wind, the fleet and the next manoeuvre, we wanted the course to be one less thing to think about.
